So much more than a race, the 4th annual Tory Row 5K kicks off with a number pick-up party on Friday, June 27th. The race starts at 9:30 a.m. sharp on Sunday, June 29th in historic Harvard Square. Post-race festivities include a party where runners can enjoy their favorite adult beverage, food and lively conversation. Take part in a growing Cambridge tradition, register to Run the Row today!
The Tory Row 5K isn't just a race, it's a full weekend of festivities. Your $40.00 registration fee guarantees you a spot in the race as well as admission to the pre- and post-race parties.
We'll be holding a number pickup party on Friday, June 27th from 5—8 p.m. Come pick up your number, meet other runners, and have a beer and snacks, on us! Tory Row will be closed to the public during The Pickup Party, so bring your teammates if you have them (the more the merrier!). Team members may also pick up full team packets.
If you can't make the party, there will be race day number pick-up between 8:00—9:00 a.m. Please arrive as early as possible, as we will be shutting down number pick-up promptly at 9:00 a.m.
Your bib is your ticket to the post-race Row Party.
The whistle blows at 9:30 a.m. sharp, Sunday, June 29, on Church Street in Harvard Square. The race will be held rain or shine, so plan accordingly.
Eco-friendly porto-potties will be available on Palmer Street (across from the Church Street parking lot). Bag check will be available for runners from 8:30 a.m-10:30 a.m. on day of race inside Cambridge, 1. (27 Church Street).
We're not responsible for any lost or missing items if you choose to use bag check, but trusted race volunteers will securely watch your belongings. Please claim your belongings immediately after you finish running.
Join us for The Row Party immediately following the race, with beverages provided by some of the best local breweries and light fare provided by yours truly. Your bib is your ticket.
We'll be presenting laurel crowns to the overall make and female winners, as well as prizes to our top finishers, top teams and our first ever team spirit award. We hope you'll come out and join us!
Your registration fee includes a Tory Row 5K t-shirt and a drawstring backpack, as well as complimentary beverages and snacks at the Pickup Party and the Row Party.
The top overall winners will receive a handmade laurel crown from Petali Flowers in Harvard Square as well as gift certificates to Tory Row.
Top male/female overall will also win a custom engraved TR5K beer pitcher, which can be filled with your choice of draft beer or sangria at Tory Row at any point during race weekend.More Prize Info
Overall Finishers Male And Female
The top three men and women will receive a $50 gift certificate and bragging rights.
Individual Top Male and Female in each age group will win a custom engraved Tory Row beer glass, and a $40 gift certificate. Age groups as follows: 15-19, 20-29, 30-39, 40-49, 50-59, 60-69 and 70-79.
If you're not the fastest you can still win just for being born at the right time!
Youngest Competitor - (must be over 10 years old)
Oldest Finisher - (must be under 115 years old)
Get Your Team Together
Teams consist of four or more runners. Scoring will be based on combined time of the top four runners. Awards will be given for the first all-female team, first all-male team, and first co-ed team (first two males and first two females score).
Top Team Finishers
Top team in each category (top all-male, top all-female, top co-ed) will win a $100 gift certificate to Tory Row, Cambridge,1., or Miracle of Science (your choice).
